# 一卦 YIGUA

> I Ching reading, an idealized yarrow-stalk probability model, and traceable historical text datasets. Eight interface languages; historical texts and review status vary by edition.

The website is free to use. Its application source is private. Only the explicitly listed public datasets are available for reuse. This index is a navigation aid, not a claim of academic certification, institutional endorsement, or guaranteed search indexing.

## Stable URLs and citation
Use a dataset DOI for its archived version and the linked repository release for the exact files. File sizes and SHA-256 checksums are also shown in the public research catalog. A web page reference is not evidence that a dataset has received an academic citation.
Public pages accept ?lang=zh-Hant, en, ja, ko, de, la, fr or vi for the interface language. This does not imply that every historical text has been translated or independently reviewed in all eight languages. Shared casting values are a view state, not a new edition of a source text.
This ordinary navigation file does not grant access to private owner analytics, change robots.txt, authorize reuse beyond the source-specific terms, or promise inclusion in AI search or model training.

## Probability model
Assume independent line draws and equally likely residue classes in each division. The first removal is 5 with probability 3/4 or 9 with probability 1/4; each later removal is 4 or 8 with probability 1/2. X=(49-D1-D2-D3)/4.
P(X=6)=1/16; P(X=7)=5/16; P(X=8)=7/16; P(X=9)=3/16. Moving lines are 6 and 9. These are model assumptions, not evidence for a metaphysical or causal interpretation.

## Historical sources and review boundaries
A library holding, permission to reuse, image transcription and independent collation are different facts. Original public-domain text is not newly restricted by editorial attribution. Copyrightable modern editorial notes and third-party contributions have separate conditions; use the rights and dataset README files. AI-assisted first passes are not human expert editions.
